Propagation
Sow fresh seed from autumn and in cold climates place in a cold frame.

Take semi-hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to lanceolate with a very short petiole and an acuminate apex. When crushed the leaves have a strong scent.

Flower: The white crateriform flowers have 5-petals with a central tuft of stamens that have yellowish anthers. They are arranged in the leaf axils on a long pedicle and appear from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small blackish berry is oblong-ellipsoid. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
