Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring in pots and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F) or sow seeds when ripe and place in a cold frame. Seedlings may be difficult to transplant.

Take cuttings or apply layering during summer.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to oblong and has 3-veins on the underside with a soft texture and are covered in tiny silvery hairs. The apex is obtuse and the base sessile.

Flower: The pink crateriform flowers have 5-crinkly petals (poppy-like) with a yellow centre and 3 to 8 flowers are arranged in a terminal cyme appearing during summer. It has a long flowering period and has a superior 1-celled ovary.

Fruit: The small capsule contains 5 to 10 valves and releases tiny seeds with endosperm. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
