Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).
Divide established clumps during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are narrow lanceolate with an obtuse apex and the texture is fleshy. The leaves appear from the base and are arching.
Flower: The red to orange narrow funnelform flowers are semi-pendant and arranged in a terminal umbel that is normally no higher than the foliage and appear during summer.
Fruit: Under cultivation the berries are normally removed. They age from green to crimson from autumn to winter and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
