Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green ovate leaves have a cordate base and prominentveins on the upper surface. The underside is downy and the dark purple petiole is long.

Flower: The red to orange salverform flowers have reflexed lobes with 4-long protruding arched stamens and are arranged in a terminal panicle. They appear from spring to summer

Fruit: The small shiny berry-like drupe appears in clusters towards the end of the branches. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
