Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring in containers and place under glass.

Divide existing plant during spring.

Take soft tip cuttings in early summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaf shape is narrow oval to lanceolate and is arranged in opposite pairs down the stems.

Flower: The small 2-lipped campanulate flowers are arranged in a terminal whorled raceme. The flowers are composed of 5-fused sepals forming a 2-liped tube with the upper one having three teeth. The throat is bearded and broad and the flowers appear during summer.

Fruit: The tiny nut produces numerous small seeds that are very viable.The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
