Propagation
Sow fresh seeds and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).

Divide established clumps (rhizome) or offsets during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The large glossy dark green leaves are ovate with a sagittate base and the petiole is cylindrical up to 1m (3ft) long. The undersides are heavily veined and the texture is leathery but easily damaged.

Flower: The fragrant small flowers are produced in a leaf-like spathe that appears from spring to summer and sporadically throughout the year in tropical climates.

Fruit: The orange-red berry is produced in clusters and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
