Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).
Take soft tip or semi-hardwood cuttings during late summer to early winter and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are broad-elliptical to ovate with coarsely serrated margins.
Flower: The red pendant funnelform flowers have a long pedicel and recurved petals that are deeply fringed. Its staminal column is also long with pink stamens and yellow anthers. They appear solitary in the lef axils during summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
