Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).
Take basal or tip cuttings during spring to early summer and semi-hardwood cuttings from summer to late summer.
Divide established clumps during spring.

Ittolerates a hard prune during autumn to thicken up for spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The woolly textured elliptical leaves have a mucronate to acute apex and a short petiole. They are tightly packed towards the top of the stems.
Flower: The blue labiate flowers have 2-spreading lips and are arranged in a terminal raceme that appears during summer.
Fruit: The tiny viable seeds are produced via a nutlet that develops inside the calyx. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
