Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.
Bud cultivars on to rootstocks during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are oblong to obovate with an acute apex and a rounded to cuneate base with 2-glands. The petiole up to 12mm (½in) long and the leaves have a glossy upper surface and a dull underside.

Flower: The small sweetly scented white cyathiform flowers are arranged in upright axillary raceme that is up to 120mm (5in) long and appears from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The clusters of cherry-like rounded drupes are red turning dark purple on maturity. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
