Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

Divide established clumps during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green leaves are broad-ovate and are pubescent. The upper surface has prominentvenation and the petiole is up to 40mm (2in) long.

Flower: The mauve tubulate flowers are 2-lipped with a prominent whitish style and are arranged in a whorled in a terminal raceme that appears from late spring to summer.

Fruit: The fruit consists of 4-nutlets and the seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
