Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.
Note:
Contact with the sap may cause skin irritation.
Do not allow the soil to dry out and the plant responds to mulching.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves are broad-elliptical to oblong with a crinkled upper surface and is sessile or has a very short petiole. The apex is abruptly acuminate and the dull green undersides are slightly pubescent.
Flower: The funnelform flowers are arranged in a axillary raceme with up to 20 blooms that have pink petals with yellow throats. They appear from spring to to early summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
