Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).

Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are oval to broad-elliptical with a pubescent surface and reddish veins. They are arranged oppositely to whorled.

Flower: The salverform to funnelform flowers have a modified reddish sepal that is large (leaf-like). They are arranged in a dense terminal panicle that appears during summer.

Fruit: The small berries are arranged in a cluster and the seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
