Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring in a well-drained media, prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Note:
This plant is resistantto Phytophthora cinnamomi.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaf shape varies from broad-lanceolate to obovate and is up to 10 mm (1/2in) wide. They are arranged oppositely and in two rows along the branchlets. They have a prominentmid rib with an acute apex.

Flower: The red to orange cyathiform flowers have fused bundles of up to 16 stamens and are arranged in a dense cylindrical spike that is up to 50 mm (2in) wide. The axis grows out into a new leafy shoot and the flowers appear during summer.

Fruit: The woody bell shaped capsule has persistent calyx teeth and is crowded along the stem.
