Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during early spring.
Takes soft tip or semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn and placed in a protected environment until roots appear.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to lanceolate with the sticky new growth and when crushed are slightly aromatic. The thin textured leaves have a long petiole and the base is slightly cordate.
Flower: The yellow tubulate flowers have 5-spreading rounded petals and up to 6-flowers are arranged in an axillary cluster that appears from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The narrow cylindrical capsule contains numerous seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
