Take soft tip or semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn.

Divide suckers during spring.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaf shape is elliptical-oval to orbicular and has stellate tomentose on the underside. The texture is thick and the margins may have some serrations.

Flower: The pubescent tubulate flowers have 5-spreading petals that are notched and are blue to white with a yellow centre. They are solitary or arranged in a short axillary raceme that appears from spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small nut is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
