Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn and maintain a temperature of 12º to 15º C. (55º to 59º F).

Take soft tip cuttings during autumn and place in a protected environment.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green linear leaves are arranged in alternate pairs and are almost terete in cross section. They are 1mm (1/16in) wide and have oil glands arranged in two rows.

Flower: The flower shape is crateriform to rotate with 5-petals and 8 to 12-stamens. The sepals are persistent on the plant and the flowers are arranged in an axillary cluster that appears from summer to autumn.

Fruit: The small woody capsule contains 2 to 3 chambers. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
