Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are spathulate to lanceolate with a deeply lobed to entire margin. They are arranged in a basal rosette.

Flower: The small yellow flowers have flattened tongue-shape ray florets and can produce seeds with or without pollination. The flower-head is held above the foliage on a slender cylindrical scape that appears from spring to autumn.

Fruit: The flower becomes a whitish ball of seeds that have parachute-like silky hairs which is used for wind dispersal.
