Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 10º to 13º C. (50º to 55º F).
Note:
This plant is not normally cultivated for ornamental purposes in Australia.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaf shape varies from narrow and incised to broad and lanceolate with irregularly serrated margins. The prominent mid rib is reddish and the leaf texture is soft.
Flower: The short-lived pale yellow flower-heads are solitary or arranged in a terminal cluster and appear from spring to autumn.
Fruit: The fruit is transversely wrinkled and has silky plumose hairs or some short barbs.
