Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).The seeds are not normally available and when sown it takes 2 to 3 months to germinate.

Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green palmate fronds have 15 to 20 narrow lanceolate leaflets that are slightly glossy and tapering towards an acute apex.
Flower: The small pink cyathiform flowers have 3-sepals and 3-petals and are arranged spirally in a branched panicle that appears in the upper leaf sheaths from late spring to early summer. This plant rarely produces female flowers.
Fruit: The small drupe is globose with a fleshy mesocarp and contains 1-seed or is lobed with each lobe having a seed and giving the appearance of separate fruit. The small seed is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
