Divide established clumps during spring.
Remove back-bulbs and pot up.

Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves vary from lanceolate, oblong to linear and may be broad and leathery to narrow and soft in textured.

Flower: The golden yellow labiate flowers have 3-lobed lips with dark spotted markings and up to 100 flowers can be arranged in a pendant raceme or panicle. The inflorescence can reach up to 1.5 m (5ft) long and the flowers may or may not be scented. They appear in spring or autumn to winter.

Fruit: They have a single chambered capsular fruit that contains many small seed with no endosperm. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively, to maintain true to type.
