Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media.

Take cuttings during late summer.
Divide established clumps during spring.

Note:
It is used medicinally as a mild sedative and for the relief of menstrual cramps.

Botanic information
Leaf: The pubescent grey-green leaves are cordate to oblong and have obvious venation on the upper surface. The apex is obtuse and the petiole is moderately long.

Flower: The expanding white to pink tubulate flowers have 2-lips and are arranged in a terminal spike-like cyme that appears from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small nut is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
