Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).

Divide established clumps during spring.

Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green pinnate fronds have linear segments that vary in length and width and are upright at first and then arch with age.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers are arranged on an unbranched spike that is produced from the leaf bases. The flowers are arranged spirally in groups of 3 with 1-green female and 2-creamy-yellow males. They have 3-overlapping sepals and petals and appear during early summer.

Fruit: The fleshy berry is green ripening to bright red and is globular to narrow obovate in shape.
