Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Divide established clumps during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaf shape varies from oblong to deltoid and are arranged in a basal rosettes or on short stems. The margin is undulate and the texture is leathery.

Flower: The funnelform flower has a blue calyx that persists on the plant after the 5-white petal corolla has finished. The flowers are arranged in a corymb-like panicle that tends to be one sided high above the foliage on a branched scape. They appear during summer.

Fruit: The small nut is retained inside the persistent calyx. The small seed is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
