Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring in a well-drained media, prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Take cuttings during spring and placed on a misting bench with bottom heat. Care should be taken with the fine roots when transplanting.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green lanceolate leaves are up to 10 mm (? in)wide narrowing evenly at both ends and having obvious longitudinal veins.

Flower: The small white tubulate flowers have 5 pubescent petals that roll backwards and the stamens are enclosed in the corolla-tube. They are arranged in a loose axillary spike that appears from spring to early summer.

Fruit: The drupe has a fleshy texture. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
