Propagation
Surface sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take cuttings during summer and placed on a misting bench with bottom heat.

Botanic information
Leaf: The small dark green to grey green oblong leaves radiate out from the stem and are covered in whitish hairs along the margins.

Flower: The tiny cyathiform flowers have a calyx tube is ovoid with 5-persistent lobes and 5-rounded petals that are spreading and prominent exserted stamens with yellow anthers. They are arranged in a 50mm (2in) long spike that appears during spring.

Fruit: The small capsule is rimmed with persistent calyx lobes and when the small wingless seeds are released the capsule falls from the plant. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
