Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Divide established clumps during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are oblanceolate to linear and the base clasps the stem. The margins are slightly rolled under and the underside of the leaf is woolly, dull grey-green.

Flower: The flower-head appears terminally on a 200mm (7µin)long stem that has a few small leaves. The disk is surrounded by small white to yellow ray florets that have a papery texture and the flowers appear from summer to autumn.

Fruit: The small seeds are glabrous with pappus-hairs up to 3mm (?in) long. The small seeds are viable but the plant can be propagated vegetatively.
