Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification.

Take soft tip or semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn.


Botanic information
Leaf: The grey-green ovate leaves are pinnately lobed into narrow segments and the margins are revolute.

Flower: The small tubulate flowers have a pedestal up to 3 mm (? in)long with perianth segments up to 14 mm (? in) long and the exserted pistil is up to 30 mm (1? in)long. They are arranged in a dense terminal raceme that is up to 90mm (3½in) long and appears during spring.

Fruit: The small follicle has a leathery texture. The tiny seeds are not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
