Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).
Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to cordate and have very small gland tipped red teeth along the margin. The apex is acute and the petiole is long.
Flower: The campanulate flowers have a bright red corolla and the sepals are tinged in green. The abundant flowers have a long pedicel and are arranged in a pendant terminal raceme that appears throughout summer.
Fruit: The small berry contains many seeds and is not commonly seen. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
