Propagation
Take cuttings during summer and this is the normal method of propagation.

Sow seed during spring.

Botanic information
Leaf: The imparipinnate leaves have 1 to 3 pairs of oblanceolate to obovate leaflets up to 4mm long with a cuneate base and a notched apex. The upper surface is channelled and has hemispherical brown glands, mainly along the margins.

Flower: The small inconspicuous flowers have 4-ovate to elliptical sepals and 8 to 9 stamens. The shrub is dioecious and the flowers appear during late summer.

Fruit: The small showy pendant capsule has 3 to 4 wings that are arranged vertical from the apex to the base and are glabrous or may have minute hairs. The fruit appears on a slender stalk in the leaf axils. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
