Propagation
Sow seed during spring.
Take cuttings during late summer and placed on a misting bench.

Cryptandra scortechiniire-shoots and seeds germinate after low intensity fire.
Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile dark green leaves vary in shape from lanceolate to ovate and has a leathery texture
Flower: The small terminal salverform flowers have 5-sepals that are persistent and 5-petals that form a hood shape that encloses the stamens. They are arranged in an umbel with persistent brown bracts and are very showy during summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is enclosed in the persistent floral tube. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
