Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in situ during spring.
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and stem cuttings during summer.
Divide established clumps during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small dark green leaves are oval to broad elliptical and has a short petiole.
Flower: The broad open funnelform flowers are a lilac-blue with a yellow centre and appear in the leaf axils during summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is 2-locular and the seeds are very viable. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
