Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are spathulate to broad elliptical and the margin is entire to crenate. The leaf tends to fold upwards and has no petiole and appears towards the ends of the branches.

Flower: The crateriform flowers have creamy-white petals and prominent pom-pom like stamens that are tinged in pink and are arranged in a spike that appears during spring.

Fruit: The large woody capsule is reddish-grey and has a lid that opens to release the woody seeds that lack endosperm.
