Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up seedlings as soon as possible. They dislike root disturbance.
Take stem cuttings during summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The silvery-green elliptical leaves are slightly to deeply lobed and have a fealty texture on the underside. The apex is acute and the petiole is long.
Flower: The radiate flower is composed of dark disc-florets in a wide range of colours. The flower head is held above the foliage on thick-ribbed scape and appear during midsummer.
Fruit: The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
