Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).
Take soft tip or semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn.
Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green palmate leaves have 5-irregular lobes with undulating margins and a short thick petiole.
Flower: The long stalked mauve to lilac funnelform flowers appear in the leaf axils of the new shoots from late spring to autumn and are profuse.
Fruit: The pubescent capsule has 3 to 5-valves and is loculicidally dehiscent and contains globose seeds that are pubescent. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
