Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).
Note:
Hedyscepe canterburyanawill not grow well in a sub tropical or tropical climate. It prefers a temperate climate but will tolerate cold climates growing very slowly.
Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green pinnate fronds have leaflets that are lanceolate tapering to a point and arranged in two rows and have downy undersides.
Flower: The small 3-petalled cyathiform (cup-shaped) male and female flowers are arranged in a pendant panicle up to 400 mm (18 in) long that develops below the crown shaft during summer.
