Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).

This plant dislikes root disturbance and mulch and keep moist during dry periods.

Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green leathery textured leaves vary from ovate to lanceolate and the undersides are glaucous. The apex is acute and the petiola is short.

Flower: The white to pink urceolate flowers are arranged in a semi-pendant terminal panicle that appears during winter.

Fruit: The small fleshy globular berry is hard and wrinkled taking up to 1 year to ripen. It is commonly known as a 'Strawberry' and tastes poorly.
