Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period and place in a well drained media. Keep moist and warm until roots appear.

Graft onto Myoporumrootstock during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile silvery-grey linear leaves have recurved entire margins and both the stems and leaves are densely covered in grey tomentose.

Flower: The mauve to purple campanulate flowers have 4-expanding petals that are lobed and a short pedicle that is covered in greyish tomentose and appear in the leaf axils during spring.

Fruit: The 2 to 4 chambered hard and woody drupe is indehiscent, dry and drupaceous sometimes splitting at the apex. There are 1 to 3 hard-coated seeds per chamber and they are difficult to germinate. The plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
