Propagation
Seeds require scarification before sowing or scald with very hot water (not boiling) before sowing.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green pinnate leaves have16 to 32 obovate to elliptical leaflets that are covered in fine downy hairs and when crushed give off a foul smell.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers are arranged in a terminal raceme and the buds are covered with blackish bracts. The flower colour is yellow with a dark centre and appear from mid-summer to autumn.

Fruit: The leathery pod is ridged and contains hard-coated seeds that are very viable.
