Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves have a prominentmid rib that is alighter colour and the apex is acute. The shape is elliptical to oblong narrowing at both ends.

Flower: The tiny flowers are enclosed in the developing fruits and are produced throughout the year in the leaf axils during summer.

Fruit: The small globular yellowish pome appears in the leaf axils and is very attractive to bats, which excrete the seed onto branches of other trees where they germinate and form aerial roots.
