Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green linear leaves are normally terete or slightly flattened with an acute apex and are sheaved at the base.
Flower: The tiny flowers are arranged in spikelets that are red brown appearing in a sub-globular cluster on curved peduncles. They are held above the foliage on a slender scape during late spring
Fruit: The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
