Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).
Take stem cuttings during summer.
Note:
This plant is capable of becoming a weed; it will grow in any sunny position with or without soil.
Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green ovate leaves vary from broad-ovate to cordate with an acute apex. The texture is fleshy and the leaf tends to fold upwards in a 'V' shape.
Flower: The small pinkish-red rotate flowers appear terminally or axillary and may continue flowering from summer to autumn or after rain in a desert environment.
Fruit: The capsule is 4 celled and the seeds lack wings. The small seed is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
