This perennial is fast growing but the clump should not be disturbed until it is very well established.
Botanic information
Leaf: The narrow mid-green lanceolate leaves have twisted petioles and are scattered alternately along the erect stems.
Flower: The orange-yellow funnelform flowers have inner tepals that are marked with dark red and there are 3 to 7 flowers arranged in an umbel that appears during summer.
Fruit: The capsule has many ovules and the small black seeds have endosperm.The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
