Propagation
Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green lanceolate leaves have an entire to serrated margin and are arranged in unequal pairs. The apex is acuminate and the petiole is short. Some cultivars have purplish coloured leaves.

Flower: The curved tubular to funnelform lavender blue flowers are arranged in a cone-shaped corymbose cluster and appear in spring and again in autumn.

Fruit: The small capsule is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
