Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.
Take cuttings during summer and placed on a misting bench.
Botanic information
Leaf:The dark green leaves are linear to oblong-lanceolate with recurved, entire margins giving the upper surface a rounded appearance. The texture is leathery and the apex is obtuse with a fine point (mucronate).
Flower: The bright yellow rotate flowers have 5-petals that are lobed on the outer margin and contain about 30 stamens. They appear solitary from spring to early summer.
Fruit: The small follicle is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
