Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.
Take cuttings during late summer and placed on a misting bench.
Culture
This plant is tolerant of wet winters, dry summers, temporary inundation and moderate lime based soils and require little care once established.
This plant is resistantto Phytophthora cinnamomi.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small dark green leaves are narrow lanceolate and are arranged oppositely-spirally along the reddish stems.
Flower: The tiny rotate flowers consist of 5-white petals and up to 12-stamens with one pistil. They are arranged in an axillary umbel towards the end of the branches and appear from late spring to summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is woody and contains many seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
