Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).
Take cuttings during late summer.
Note:
This plant dislikes being transplanted when mature.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaf shape varies from ovate to elliptical and has reddish veins on the upper surface and a short petiole. The apex is acute and during winter the leaves turn a rich reddish colour before falling.
Flower: The greenish to pure white salverform flowers are arranged in terminal corymb that appears during summer.
Fruit: The small capsule contains winged seeds. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
