Propagation
Sow fresh seed in a well drained media that is kept moist during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F)

Divide established clumps during spring.
Take stem cuttings during summer up to 80 mm (3? in) long and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green leaves are elliptical to ovate and are covered in fine hairs. The petiole is short and the apex is acute.

Flower: The tubular flowers have a 2-lipped corolla with a purple throat and are arranged in a cyme in groups of 6 to 12 and appear from spring to autumn.

Fruit: The capsule is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
