Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F)

Take cuttings from vertical shoots from spring to summer.

Note:
Care should be taken when selecting a sight and the tree has vigorous roots that can lift concrete and block drains.


Botanic information
Leaf: The juvenile leaves are ovate, up to 50mmm (2in) long. The sessile stiff adult leaves are awl to lanceolate are slightly curved and overlapping with a sharply acuminate apex.

Flower: The terminal male strobili is pedant and is up to 60mm (2?in)long and the ellipsoid female cones are 150mm (6in) long. They appear during spring.

Fruit: The large cones produce a winged seeds, which are attached. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
