Divide established clumps during early spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The grey green flat linear leaves are in-rolled along the margins and are scabrous on the back.

Flower: The small 3 to 4 florets appear in a spikelet that is arranged in a panicle that is up to 200mm (8in) long and appear above the foliage during autumn.

Fruit: The seed is tiny and viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
