Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during early spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle. Grow in pots for one season before planting out.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dull green leaves are broad lanceolate and tend to be crowded towards the end of the branches. The apex is acute and the petiole is short.
Flower: The flowers have 5-sepals and 5-white to yellow petals and the stamens are arranged in bundles opposite the corolla lobes. The flowers are arranged in a cyme that appears during late spring.
Fruit: The small bell shaped capsule is 3-celled and contains numerous seeds.
